Untitled 2

This painting deals with the harmony and chaos in nature and is the start of my working from the paper towards me - instead of the other way round. The shapes were mapped out quickly and the creatures were then pulled from the paper into reality. For me, this piece is forced to exist in a state of harmony due to the mere fact that the organisms cannot simply up and fly away. They are forced to coincide. It was interesting for me to see just how much mayhem I could paint onto one page whilst still keeping with the natural rhythm of nature.. 51cm x 55cm watercolour on paper

Nice composition, but is there room in your concept for a brighter pallette?
